Hello guys... I know this may be a bit off the topic, but I just have a question... Um, has anyone of you already found the quill and sort of registered?

Its just frustrating, (sorry... being a bit childish here.. Razz

) because I was LITERALLY waiting for the Magical Quill... I had the POTTERMORE Website open for the past 2 hours... And when I refreshed it, its said that I cannot access it at the moment... So, I waited... And waited... When I refreshed it again... Day 2 Registration is already closed... Sad

What do you think is the best time for me to look for the Magical Quill? I'd like to try again tomorrow... But If the same thing happens again... I guess I should just wait for October... Smile

based on its first two days of early registration, i think it opens around 4:30pm-ish. Just keep refreshing, try different browsers, and stuff. And make sure you have great net connection.

I was frustrated too, why there's a loop of me inputting the magical quill url and loading me back to the pottermore homepage. turns out, my answer was wrong Razz

well, I just based my answer on the first thing that appeared to my Google Search page. Too lazy to check out the book or even think about it because I've been panicking that every second counts, and any cause of delay would prevent me from registering. That was very un-Ravenclaw, thus adds my fear of being sorted into other Houses (damn that Sorting Goblet!, right FC?).

Anyway, I'm MagicWillow48 at Pottermore. Care to share your Pottermore identities?

Hi! Ganyan din situation ko kahapon, so I definitely understand the frustration. What time did you open the pottermore website? Kasi 2-3 hours lang siya available, full na agad yung registry.
Try mo earlier bukas, baka mga 4-5 ulit siya mag-open. Kasi pag 6 na dami nang online eh.

Finally registered and I got my email too from Pottermore :-) Ang bilis lang nung sakin. Within 3-5 minutes dumating na ang owl ko. Smile

By the way, to those who've registered successfully but have yet to receive a verification owl, the Pottermore Insider says:

There is a delay with verification emails going out via Yahoo! Mail and related providers (such as BT Yahoo!), which means that, while emails are being sent out, they are being delivered at a greatly reduced rate.

My owl finally made its way to me two hours after I registered.

My experience was kind of weird naman. When I inputted my answer, it redirected me to the Deathly Hallows website at WB, but there was no magic quill there. At first I thought my answer was wrong so I tried again, pero tama naman...di lang ako makapasok for some inexplicable reason Sad

Am I the only one who has experienced this?

Jacq, you went the right way. You just needed to look for the magic quill on that page O_O You need to click the magic quill on the page to direct you to the registration page. Sayang.

Kaya I posted a comment on one of the wall posts on facebook na "How many points nga ba???" Tapos, di pa ko makapag-type ng answer ng maayos kasi I was thinking na baka mag close na yung registration. Lucky me, a lot of the guys from Hogwarts PHP on facebook helped. Kahit dun sa pag levitate, sila din nagsabi na click ko yung mouse left and right. Nakakataranta, pero it's worth it. Razz

Potterheads! It has recently been revealed by the Pottermore Insider blog on what time they will release Clue #4!

So far, all the clues have appeared in the early hours of the morning in my time zone. Will this continue for the remainder of The Magical Quill challenge?
We know that Harry Potter fans around the world are taking part in the challenge, so we will be varying the times that the clues are revealed. We can tell you that tomorrow's clue (Day 4) will be released between 2.00pm and 6.00pm BST.

hi guys.

i was just wondering if others have had similar problems with me.

it's been approximately 20 hours since i 'successfully registered' but still have not received a Pottermore owl (validation email). i thought perhaps the registration didnt get through however when i go to 'forgot username' and input my email address i used to sign up, Pottermore does send me an email containing the right username i saw yesterday.
