HBP on IMAX, Bill Nighy, DH paperback, Clips Online, Toys... oh my!
Here's a bunch of HP news bits for today.
Online news sources recently revealed that the first 12 minutes of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (TM) will be in IMAX 3D. Members have been asking if this will be the only 3D sequence. Based on the IMAX description that Warner Bros. Phils. sent us, it looks like that is the case.
The Leaky Cauldron and several news sources are reporting that Bill Nighy has been cast as Rufus Scrimgeour in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows! More info HERE
The Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows trade paperback has been spotted in Powerbooks. It retails for PhP755, which is glaringly more expensive than the rest of the HP paperbacks (HBP retails for PhP400+). This could be a result of the recent controversial taxing on imported books. If you're smart, you'll look for the best deals being offered by the different bookstores.

NECA has announced the first wave of their Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince action figures. They come in a 7" and 3 3/4" line. Available figures for both the 7" and 3 3/4" line are: Harry in "The Cave Scene" outfit, Ginny in school uniform, and Draco in school uniform.
