Well, I've been browsing the net for the inside clothes of our beloved school robes since Monsieur Malkin provides the our cloaks.

I found out that this has got free shipping to the Philippines. Though it is light gray (Charcoal gray is used in the movies.), you've just got to match the color of the skirt (for girls; black pants for boys) and you're all fine. We just need to buy the cloth featuring out house colors and sew them on the sweater.

Well, that's all I've got. Oh yeah, they're made in China!

Yep. We've got to sew the house colors on the collars and on the wrists. If you want, you could also put a patch on it.

For a much cheaper alternative, try scouting ukay-ukay stores. I bought my sweater in ukay-ukay. It's a V-neck button-up sweater (like the sweaters that they wore in OotP). Medyo mahirap maghanap, but once you do find one, it's worth it. Very Happy Not to mention you can find branded clothes there. Laughing Labhan lang, okay na. Oo nga pala, I painted the cuffs and the lower part of the sweater with my house colors to make it more "officially" a Hogwarts uniform. I used textile paint.

some local department stores have black sweaters available. i was able to buy one at SM Megamall. medyo mahal nga lang.

no need to look far. as caryl said, ukay-ukays are a good bet if you want to save.

just remember guys, creating your Hogwarts look is not that hard. all you need is your creativity and patience.

That's also one of my ideas...LOL...In Ukay-ukay,it's not that hard to find sweaters especially to big Ukay-ukay stores....

Based on my experience, it is hard to search in ukay-ukay. Haha. Pinilit ko kasing maghanap ng movie-accurate style na sweater, so it took me a bit while to find my attire. Laughing

Yep. It is. But if you didn't have enough money. You can go to Ukay-ukay outlets. You can see a lot of plain sweaters there to make a your sweater robe
