magkano charge mo sakin.. ^^
The price can be lowered, but maybe not that less. The reason is the labor is almost the same. The difference in price would be determined by the difference in fabric. I have yet to compute the price for small Robes.

hmmmmm...actually im inquiring about robes and patches for Slytherin...
i would like to ask the mode of payment for robes and patches?!?
what if I don't know my measurement??maybe im asking for procedures to get one...hehehhe
The info for mode of payment was already posted by Prof Skywalker. As for the instructions for getting your own measurements, I'll post them tomorrow
In addition for the mode of payment:
1. Downpayment at least 50% (or full payment) to me personally during Accios and the rest of the payment when you claim the finished Robes, or
2. Downpayment at least 50% (or full payment) to me through Gringotts account (to be provided upon request, drop me a mobile owl at 0927-925-5766) and the rest of the payment by Galleons when you claim the finished Robes.
3. In addition to #2, drop me a mobile owl if you already deposited through the specified Gringotts account.

Instructions for getting your own measurements (School Robes)
The following are the instructions:
Notes:
N1. All measurements should be in inches
N2. All measurements should be exact. No allowances should be inlcuded. Madam Malkin shall take care of the required allowances
N3. All measurements should done in relaxed, standing and upright position. Slouching or bending can affect your measurements
N4. PointA as the reference point between the base of the neck and the collar bone (red arrow).
N5. Ask someone to take your measurements. I know others may have other ways to measure, but please stick to these instructions so we would all be talking on the same page.
N6. Chosen Draco as model Refer to colors as guides. Refer to attached pic.
1. Shoulder - Side to side. If you try to press the edge of the shoulder, you could feel the shoulder bone. This could be a reference point. From this point to the counterpart on the other side is your shoulder measurement. For uniformity, measure the shoulder from left to right shoulder of the subject. Yellow line point B to point C.
2. Sleeve - After you've done the shoulder measurements, extend the tape measure through the right arm length until the start of knuckles. The right arm should be pressed on the side while this measurement is done. Yellow + Maroon line (point C to point D)
3. Arms - Create a loop around the subject's armpit and the shoulder and measure it. Green line seen crossing the armpit and shoulder.
4. Bust - One of the typical vital statistics taken, essentially the widest point of the chest.
5. Waist - another commonly known vital stat. For witches, this shuold be taken at the level of the bellybutton or navel. For wizards, this is where you tyically place the waistband of your shorts or pants.
6. Hips - the third of the famous vital stats. Same as the bust, the widest point of the subject's hips.
7. Figure - Starting from PointA (refer to N4), let the tape measure fall to the widest point of your bust, to the point till the tape measure crosses the waist. Brown line from PointA through bust point and ends at the waist line.
8. Length - continuing from the Figure measurement, extend the tape measure to the floor. The Length measure is preferably one (1) inch from the floor. Represented by Brown line.
Ensure that feet are placed together when getting this measurement, otherwise you'll get a shorter measurement.
Additional info:
1. Subject's Gender
2. Subject's Height
3. Muggle name
4. Mobile owl number
I hope these helps. Send your measurements to monsieur.malkin@gmail.com, include your mobile owl number.
For any queries, clarifications or violent reactions, just post them here or send me a mobile owl.

Buongiorno Monsieur Malkin! I have some questions.
I'm currently in Rome and would love to get my robes from your fabulous shop. Is it possible? If you accept international order, would it be possible to send it also here? XD I know this is an odd request seeing all the posts here but I hope you allow such requests. XD

Right now, the only problem I can see would be the shipping cost which will be charged to you and most probably be higher than the cost of the robe itself.

Minimal measurements
It seems that some are having difficulties getting the measurements.
Well, the minimum that Madam would require are the following for School Robes:
1. Bust
2. Waist
3. Hips
4. Subject's height
5. Subject's gender
All notes I've previously listed should be followed - like I need the exact measurements(no allowance) in inches.

Guess there should be no other problems than that. Now all I need is someone to measure me up. ahahaha Thanks! Will send you an email once I'm done to facilitate everything needed.

Almost the same. Its just the sleeves are shorter. But I have yet to review the designs for the new movies. But for the previous designs (SS to GoF), sleeves are shorter.

Hmmm... I was about to reprimand you Sean for that. Because from the start, I've discussed this with the Deputy HM. we had the understanding I've already posted this info. But alas, the info got edited when I was doing the draft. I apologize for the error.
The answer to the query:
I've set the deadline of measurements and downpayment to July4, IF you want the robes in time for the HBP events this month. After this deadline, I can't assure the clients that the School Robes would be available for the said events.
But if you're not targetting the HBP events, there is no deadline.

Hi! Next time, if you want to add a question please EDIT your post instead of posting AGAIN. Thanks.
Also... of course you will need to meet with Monsieur Malkin personally. You can send him a Personal Message to arrange a meeting. Have you sent him your measurements yet?
And also, yes, you HAVE to pay in cash, Monsieur Malkin doesn't take checks or credit cards.

Local Shipping
I asked the rates of LBC, one of the available local couriers in the country.
For any place in the Philippines (as long as LBC can deliver there), I'll be charging a flat rate of P250 for shipping the School Robes.
So for places near but outside Manila, this would be also convenient. You would be spending a little less than this cost for your transportation.

Please try to read the previous posts. This goes to anyone who'll visit this thread and ask. There is no deadline. There was a deadline because there were PHP events where the School Robes ordered will be used. So otherwise no deadline.

38sets? Are you sure? My first concerns would be (1) what particular Q-thingies are they looking for and (2) when do they need these Q-thingies.

Uniform
I'm just new to the group, and I was wondering if this is the right thread to ask for the arrangement of Hogwarts uniform (I can't see a thread about it, or am I just missing it?)
How do we put a Hogwarts uniform?

Re: School Robes Q&A Thread
Luciola, it depends if your common room has one... but here is the tip...
just get long sleeves white shirt, blue and silver ties for your house, cardigans or jackets, black pants... the robe is not that mandatory though...

Monsiuer Malkin would like to inform all those who are interested in having their own robes that he is accepting orders until the end of this month. The next batch would probably be around early June.
You can either email him your measurements or arrange a meeting with either one of us so that we can get your measurements, this is of course subject to availability and location. Click this link and you'll be directed to the page that contains instructions on how to get your own measurements.
For further questions and concerns, you can send him an e-owl at monsieur.malkin@gmail.com

Hmmm. Monsieur, yung robes po ba, robes lang talaga? As in robes lang? Or kasama po yung gray sweater, yung patch, yung necktie, yung white polo, yung skirt at yung cloak? Pwede po bang makita yung pictures ng actual school robes? Yung hindi nakasuot sa tao.
Paki-PM na lang po ako.
Thanks in advance, MM!

Re: School Robes Q&A Thread
I guess I can answer for Monsieur on this one.
Monsieur Malkin provides the school robes only (with the specified House crests). For the sweater, polo, ties, etc. each student must rely on their hunting and creative skills to come up with the rest of the ensemble. You can buy these in different department stores or in ukay-ukays. If you want to get the authentic sweater and tie, you can check out Amazon or WBShop.
But if those options are a bit too much for now, you can create your own school uniform. For more tips on how to create your own ties check out this link.

mitchie08, please refer to MIASelene's post. Yes, M. Malkin only makes the robes. The rest of the uniform you'll have to come up with on your own.
As for the materials, I don't think there's an official type of cloth used for robes but I'll leave it to M. Malkin to answer your question further.
Hope that helps.

Hope that helps.
okay....thanks lianne....

hello gen
after paying for the downpayment, you'll just have to pay the remaining 800 once the robe is done.

Re: School Robes Q&A Thread
Hi, regarding with the robes... you can actually choose the house you want your robes to be made for, however once sorted, it would be better to have your house color right? Stand up and be proud...
Furthermore, with rush robe making, i think you should contact Monsieur Malkin via PM so that you can discuss further from robe fitting to payment method, etc...
Hope you have a blast this potter season
