Re: Chapter 7: The Ministry of Magic
Mr Weasley takes Harry to his trial for underage magic use at the Ministry. They discover the hearing time and place has been changed but the Ministry didn’t let Harry know. Fortunately, they arrived early and made it in time. The hearing turns out to be in one of the old formal courtrooms, but they don’t know why.
Question:
1) Why do you think the Ministry suddenly changes the time and venue of Harry’s hearing?
Re: Chapter 7: The Ministry of Magic
Regarding the venue, one word: intimidation.
There's nothing scarier for a teen than be tried in a huge, old courtroom not by his peers but by authority figures.
Regarding the time, one possibility is that they (the Minister with his cohorts like Umbridge) were hoping Harry would miss the trial altogether. If he misses it, then it would appear as if the Potter kid is not treating the trial with respect and utmost seriousness. And yeah, that maybe Dumbledore might also miss the trial of the boy (one Potter ally out of the way).

because they like to trick harry... because, like here in muggle world, once you miss a trial, it should be treated as deprivation of duty and will be punished severely so it is a law also of the ministry.... if harry can't attend the hearing at the time, he will be proven more guilty and may be expelled...
